Would appreciate your help with these buttons...PLEASE

After hours of research, I am still unable to identify this symbol/insignia. If you know anything about this button, please share your knowledge. I've taken photos of the fronts and backs of the buttons I own. Some are one piece plus the shank; others are two pieces. Hope you're not as baffled as I am on this one! Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I do not see any makers mark on the backside which makes it tough to determine. Did you find these metal detecting? If so, what area? That could help others in identifying these for you. Just provide a general location if you don't mind.
