i looked round to find a base i have found that was a great example but i have so many broken ones it may be impossible to find ill check again in the morning its the only turkey tail ive seen in my parts of town

Probably right time frame but I think it'd be hard to say definitively that it's a turkeytail

IMHO, I don't think so. Turkey tails have a much smaller and a very distinct base.
