A buddy does antique furniture he told me NOT to touch the finish. The tinted lacquer finish adds a lot to the valueLovely solid piece of furniture
For the cost of the piece of glass, why not just refinish the top?
Put glass over the surface, and it would still have the aged/needing attention look.
That makes sense, as it could devalue the originality of the piece.A buddy does antique furniture he told me NOT to touch the finish. The tinted lacquer finish adds a lot to the value?
