Writing Desk Jamestown New York Elite Furniture Company

Acquired this desk at a yard sale. Have not been able to find anything else like it online. Wondering what it would be called, I am assuming it is a writing desk. And what the value May be. Has the elite furniture company Jamestown New York label inside. Has the number 696 or 969 on the bottom of the drawer. I'm thinking it is maybe from the 1920s or 30s. Thank you for any info available, I am new to this forum.
