All,
I’m interested in purchasing one of these three machines, depending on availability. Posting this thread to see what is available out there for purchase. Prefer one in excellent or new condition and order of interest would be the Bandido followed by the Vaquero then the Mojave. Although I’m not entirely sure whether I would prefer the Vaquero over the Mojave as this would be my first Tesoro. Appreciate all the assistance. MFF

I would place the Mojave, between the Compadre and Vaquero. The Vaquero would be my choice. Be sure to check out other forums, Ebay and your local Facebook Marketplace or other local classifieds.:skullflag:

Gentlemen please remember there must always be a charter member involved in every sale or trade. If person placing want ad is not a charter member then only charter members can reply with offers to sell as per our rulea.

Tresure,
I apologize for the mis-step. What do I need to do to rectify this issue. Thanks

LOL, well if you became a charter member that would rectify it. :laughing7: or just remember what I posted that there must always be a charter member involved in a sale or trade, if a charter member posts a trade, sale ad or want ad, anyone can reply if non CM posts then only charter members can respond.

Either way we are good MFF18B....:icon_thumleft:

So sorry for the intrusion. I am not familiar with the control panels of the above-mentioned fine Tesoro machines. Just wondering if my vintage (1997) “tropicalized” Tesoro (camouflaged-covered to be safe from mud, dents, mosquitoes, prying eyes and itchy hands) has the same set-up. Still works like new.

Tabu,
Honestly, I have no idea. I’m not at all familiar with the Diablo.

Thank you, MFF18B. To diverge- - I might have been using it the wrong way or for the wrong purpose. Initially, it was used to screen or bodily scan hired workers coming out of the tunnel in a small hard rock mining claim. Eventually it became a handy companion in various Yamashita treasure search- - scanning cave walls and floors and JIA-made concrete of various shapes and sizes with the hope that they concealed gold bars which comprised the bulk of the war booty amassed by the Japanese military as they swept across mainland Asia and only to be blocked by the Americans on their return trip to Japan with a significant portion of their loot stuck in the Philippines.

The Diablo, is an excellent machine. Yes, the setup is along the lines of their tech 30-years ago.

Wow! Thanks for the comprehensive listing in chronological order of all Tesoros. Tesoro is really an iconic brand used by many satisfied treasure hunting hobbyists. I hope another Tesoro will come out soon in 2022 even in this pandemic times.

tabu,
Tesoro no longer exists, company closed it's doors a few years ago........fwiw

Unfortunately steve1357 is correct, Tesoro went out of business and shut down in October 2018, followed by whites, although Garrett did buy some rights to a few of Whites detectors, Whites has also gone out of business.

Thread closed: Located all three. Thanks for all the help.
