Hi Steve. Could be, but its hard to nail a date on those, as (roughly) the same pattern has been used since 1902 (until present). I'm gonna' go out on a limb and agree that it is from the WWI era though. Maybe with the back mark someone could nail it for sure. Fun find! -Ben
