I just got back from NC, and had a little time to get some swinging in. Keepers were slim, and mason jar lids were plentiful, but I had a good time all around.
It’s a bit of a miracle I got the small medicine bottle at all, because I had picked up on a target just in front of it. The shovel just glanced off the screw top, taking a small chunk with it, but I’m just happy it stayed in one piece. By far the best find of the day was the button, coming up as a solid 90-91 on there AT Pro. I was thinking I was onto some silver, but this was even better.
Other finds: 1 buckle, 1 possible buckle, a 1942 dog vaccination tag, 1950 wheat penny, and a lone memorial penny.

The button reads: SIGMUND EISNER - RED BANK, but other examples of this button I’ve found read Red Bank, NJ. As far as I can tell, it’s from WW1, but any input is appreciated. As to how exactly it got there, your guess is just as good as mine.

Nice find on the button. While it may have seen service in WWI it actually predates it. Your button was made between 1902 and 1910. A rim was added in 1910.

Nice finds. Congrats

Congratualtions on the relics! :occasion14:

I love how often our knowledgeable community contributes insights and accuracy on finds. This is a great example. Very nice find scdigs, and very nice add fyrffytr1! Cheers to you both!

Very nice button, scdigs...and yes, a solid 90-91 would've had me thinking (big) silver too. Congrats on the score, Ddf.
