I found this Ring last year in Denmark (Knable Vig) .. Im pritty sure ive Decifferd it correctly..:icon_scratch:

Its a Duck, with a Hat / Parashoot, A Dickie Bow/ Propeller, And the Duck sit's on Water / Diver's, Swimmers... ( They Fly in, Parashoot Down to the Sea and Swim into Land)

So my gues was and is that its a German or Brittish Special forces Squadren Ring.. Their is No writting or marks inside the Ring, as their can be NO info if Captured.. Copper gilt...
Any other idea's or Info More than welcome.. :)

unfortunatly Broken stem... Quit special i thinks... 20160220_155517.webp20160220_155536.webp20160220_155650.webp

Update... Turn out to Be WW1 Or WW2 Trench Art Ring... Thanks for the help... :)

I might be wrong, but I don't think special forces wear any rings when in active combat, but that just might be a modern concept??

Wether its Special forces ive no idea...just a gues ?, it could be a Past-on ring from WW1 through family..? its been made larger or fixed at some point in its past i can see on the Stem .. Thks for Reply :)

The craftsmanship of the ring, and the lack of markings suggests (to my admittedly untrained eye) it may be some form of trench art. Could the duck in fact be a penguin?

Good Jab, But Its Defo a Duck... ;)

What are you smoking to see all that? It's a bird (possibly a duck) breaking out of an egg (shell on top and bottom). It has nothing to do with military, it's some kitch junk ring.

I saw all THAT, becouse i do Research... This is a Large Male's ring, not a Kids ring... Plus Where i found it, and what i found very close to it... a German Tunic Button, ww2 bullets ... but i didnt think i need to go into all that info.. Im 45 and know plenty of what the Britt's and Gerry's got up to in and around the 2nd WW time... But i can see why you thought it was a duck breaking out of an Egg.. But No... its not .. Good Jab ...

Plus i dont Drink Or SMOKE !! lol.....

To me, it looks too lightweight and flimsy to be any sort of serious, military organization ring. Such rings are generally more robust. That one looks like a toy or a childs novelty ring.

I didn't see a single duck/egg ring in any of those. How are those supporting your position?

I also think junk ring because it looks soldered and in the trenches they made it out of one piece and this looks like two. but hey what do I know......

Very cool ring. Amazing historical find
