WWII collectors memorabilia

I have a box of what I believe are WWII tank & ship periscope parts. Prisms & lenses. I was going to off these on Ebay not really giving it a thought. Then I looked to see if anyone else was selling these there. I found a couple going for pretty high $'s. My question is this, are these guys just trying to make a bunch of money off some crusty prisms or are these things actually worth money. Here are some links to others auctions (not mine). The pic's are of what I have. Just don't want to through them on, sell them cheap then kick myself for doing so.
Any input appreciated.
