Hit my favorite WWII dump today. Found many period artifacts even with all the weeds grown in! It is very common to find Japanese and Chinese artifacts at this site, undoubtedly brought back from the Pacific by returning servicemen. But today I found one artifact that I'd never imagined I'd see - a pair of very round glasses, the style used by the Japanese and extensively parodied in US propaganda at that time! I did extensive research and am quite convinced that these probably are genuine captured Japanese glasses brought back by a US serviceman as a souvenir and then subsequently disposed of in the army's dump after they broke! So cool!

Those are some cool glasses, reminds me of the ones Jerry Lewis wore in a movie he was in playing the part of a Japanese.
