X Terra 305, Are they any good?

I found an X Terra 305 for sale for $150, been used 3 times. Online reviews seem kind of mixed on the performance of this machine. I figured this is a better place to find out about the good and bad. I have an old Bounty Hunter Outlaw DE 280 that's been pretty good, have pulled wheat penny's from 8" but would like a newer, lighter detector just don't have extra money. Thanks in advance for any replies.

The Minelab 305 Metal Detector is a very good entry level unit. Has ground balance which is nice!

I would jump on that deal!! The Xterra is a great detector and with the 305 you can use alot more frequency coils. I have made some great finds with them!!!

If you don't want it please tell me about it, I have a friend with hardley no money and needs a good one. Minelab is an awesome detector by the way
