X-Terra 70

I am a ..Sovereign..lover never did like the..Explorer..but my buddy got a ..X-Terra 70.. and i really took to it.And am going to get one only now the question to me is what will be my back up? The ..Sovereign.. or the ..X-Terra 70..? What will happen is they will both get equal time in the field i think they are both great detectors....................==Jim== 8)

Hi Jim,

Those are the two machines I use right now. The 70 is so light and fun to adjust. The larger DD coils are the ones that really give it some good depth so if you can make sure and try one of those. The Sov gives better target ID and has such a great audio, its hard to pass that one up when you go huntiing. Sandman I fully agree, its an additiction you dont want to give up

If I had to choose and could only have one it would be the Sov(I mostly ocean beach hunt) but the 70 is a super changeup type machine and works extremely well on wet sand beaches so its very versatile also.

I just ordered an Excalibur so I will have three machines soon. Ive had Excals before, same as the Sov but waterproof.
