Detector(s) used
I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, AT Pro, Xterra 505, White’s TRX
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I only have the XP Deus. I don’t have an underwater search antenna. I’ve never even seen one before. I’m wondering if it would be possible to make or buy an extended antenna?
I have a spot where someone would like for me to find a ring underwater but it is fairly deep and I’m not allowed to go in. The only benefit is they know exactly where they lost it within a few feet. Just really don’t know how to help them beyond having my XP Deus coil at the end of a non metallic rod and extending my sand scoop handle

How deep, and why aren't you allowed to go in?
Valid question The antenna aren't too long.

If it's any deeper than 10ft I think you're going to have to call the manufacturer.

Serious Metal detectors sell them.
8 foot lengths I think.

if you need longer, i bought the 8 foot and used the cover and made some 15 feet ones.
there is a YouTube video on which antenna wire you should use.

I’m not sure. From what I understand it is a city pond/lake. I asked if I could put in a 2 person boat and run my Excalibur on a pole and I wasn’t even allowed to place a boat.
