XP Deus for Dummies

Calabash digger and Verrari are the gurus on the Deus.
Calabash has a bunch of great video and Verrari has great tech.
Look them up and I'm sure you will get all the info you will need.
The main thing is to take your time and practice.

Oh I almost forgot...

I have had all my "wonderings" answered by watching youtube videos and reading the tnets DEUS sub forum. Is the Deus your first detector?

Does anyone besides Gary from the XP Deus company do any instructional videos geared to the absolute novice? Like for folks new to the hobby with little to no knowledge. Thanks.

Check this out...

I agree, Calabash digger is the man as well as vferrari for learning the Deus.

Well it is my 2nd one. Bought a Garrett AT Pro a few years ago and never took time to learn it. Found it in the back of a closet, got it out and decided to learn it. Planted a test garden. Although very fresh I swept over a $1 gold piece a little over 3" deep and NOTHING! Decided I wanted a better machine and here I am....struggling...bad.

use the basic 1 program at first and learn what the detector is doing. Don't fiddle with settings at first. Go slow. Have patience. It's better to take your time and get to know it rather than try to go fast, you will only get frustrated. I know, that's what i did and i had to relearn everything that i learned wrong. Use tracking ground balance. Did I mention to go slow?
