Xp help

Any tips on a good case for xp. If im out in light rain, snow, the cover wallet it came with gets foggy and cant read it...ugh. frustrating. Im new with xp and learning tones. never used a detector with numbers. I know it will take time and patience but any tips would be appreciated.
