It was bought where the other pieces tended to be from the 1960's. Thinking it may have been a friend of the person who owned it, but it was a estate sale, so the owners were no longer around. Bought a nice pair of woman's crocodile cowgirl boots as well, they will go to a waitress at the bar. (Tiny, size 38 Italian). I can't make out the signature, I'll see an "A", then a "N". Still searching.

Is it 'A Wallburn', or something like that?

Every time I look at the signature, I see something different. Driving me nuts. Thanks for the replies,
Carl

The first letter definitely looks like an "H" to me.
Second and third letters possibly "U" and "A." Then possibly a couple of "L"s later on.

This is what I do with signatures and I've gotten some :sign13: from this method.

I try to copy the signature. While I do this, over and over if necessary, I try to figure out what the person was trying to write. Solved a photo collection problem with this, and hit some important history simply by reinterpreting one initial.

Is that ink on paper. A litho? Etching. Might help your 'net search.

Another trick, if you have picasa which I recommend. It's free. Use the "sharpen feature." Also try adding a yellow tint. Either of these might help you see it better.

Comes real close to this artist's work. Mine does not have a signature.

Those are excellent ideas, I'll try them tonight. I have Photoshop, never thought of using the "tint".
