This thing has situated the hole directly under the hanging bird feeder. He gets the seeds the birds knock down.

Re: Yard Rodent

Great nature photo . Seems the little bugger is simply using what is provided. What camera & lens were used to take these great shots. Nice job. Thanks.

Thanks Tubecity, Used a Canon XSI with a Canon 400mm 5.6L lens. Taken from about 12 feet away.

Thanks SC Hunter and Chris. :hello:

Re: Yard Rodent

If there are 2 of them, pop em both and make booties out of their hides....they'll be warm.

I have only spotted one. It's to small to make anything out of. :D (only about 6" long)

I did a google search and learned it's a Pocket Gopher.

Tan it, and make a coin purse out of it, get his mate and they taste like chicken :whip2:........NGE

Cool, looks just like a boss I used to work for. That focus is interesting to me, is that auto or manual?

Thanks RGINN and 256steves,

I had a boss like that too, :laughing7: I only use auto focus, my eyes aren't good enough to use manual. For wildlife I use the center focal point, and all of them for landscapes.
