Weighing in at 2.2g of 9k... It's a little out of round, too.

Congratualtions! :occasion14:

Gold + ring = treasure! Congrats on finding yours! :occasion14:

Nice score!!! Odd question... what does the signal of a 9K gold ring come in at...say...compared to that of a coin. The reason I ask is that I am finding gold rings to range to be a low as "aluminum foil" to as high as a brass shell casing. I have never found 9K gold so curious as to what it was similar to. Thanks in advance :)

Running my deus xp 9" hf coil at 28khz, the last three gold rings I've found have rang in at 84-85. Which is the same as a lot of stay-tabs. But I swear there is a slight difference in the tone. It seems sharper on the edges and more solid.

Thanks, all. It's always a nice surprise to see round and shiny in the hole.
