It's been super dry here so door knocking is out of the question. Went back to my go to park that I've pounded. First decent signal came an hour into the hunt. It was reading 81 on the at gold which most likely means a wheatie. I dug down and think i got caught on a root. When I tried to pry the plug up it suddenly busted free right in my face. Face and mouth full of dirt. Yummy! After that I could no longer find the signal. I search for ten minutes around the hole to no avail. Don't know, maybe I swallowed it. Continued on bummed out that I lost the target and was finally rewarded with this nice walker. Found it in a wooded area with almost no other targets present. First for the year so I'm totally stoked!

Nice find! Congratulation!

Congrats. Ive only found two halves since last spring and I do a lot of detecting. Cant figure out how anyone could lose a coin that size

My favorite coin is the walking liberty congratulations on a great find.

Excellent find. Congrats

Congrats!! Still looking for my first Walker ever.

Congrats on your first Walking Lib for the year. They are a beautiful coin, and I love it when one shows up under my coil.

Congrats on pulling that big silver. :occasion14: I have been detecting for 25 months and have only pulled one walker so far and that happened earlier this year. Since then I have pulled 2 Barber halves. Go figure :dontknow:

Im still hoping to find a barber half and maybe even a seated. Thats about as far back as the coin history goes around here. Thanks everyone !

Go back if you don't find the target in your shirt pocket or in your clothes. I'd bet you had a dime, and it found its way somewhere on your person. Congrats on the Walker, too!

Nice job on the big silver.

On a rare occasion, I have cut a plug on a good signal, and then it sort of disappears. Put the pinpointer in the hole and there it is again. Maybe when digging, the coin is knocked into a standing on edge position and hides from the coil.

Congrats on the Walker! I want to dig one so bad lol

Congrats on the big silver!! :occasion14: I just found one a couple of weeks ago.. Its all good,, Keep on finding more.. HH
