Yellowstone watch fob ca. 1915?

I found this fob at a 1900s house. I saw one similar online going for 350 $. Then another on an auction site, but couldn't see how much it sold for because I'm not a subscriber. Is this thing really valuable? I guess these bears were a hit in 1915 or so. This fob is heavy about .5 oz. I'm guessing brass. Anything you guys can tell me about it would be appreciated.
