IMG-20130120-00279.webpthe wind was howling today and i needed to get out of the house for a bit as the kids were gonna drive me nuts so i grabbed the md and headed to a old house that a sportsman club bought so that no one would rent it to live in and cause trouble with them .
i spent about 4 hours there total and found these items with a handful of other fun stuff like a copper half of a spoon and so on 2 bullets that were deforemed . i found the merc first 1944 it shine like a light from the hole when i flipped the plug over about 6 inches down the indian head was also about 6 inches and the large centwas only about 4 inches but it was right at the edge of a old tree root i had to run under water and clean to see the date on them as they are pretty rough but i finnally got it . it's hard to photo them silver coins it looks better than that but that is the best i can do sorry .

thanks for looking and i am going back out there when i get a chance .

thanks for looking

And the winner is the large cent, Love it!

I agree with Birdman....Can you show a better pic of it?

Nice going, that's a great days hunt!

Definitely a hunt worthy of 3 yesses! Well done!

i would like to get a better pic of the large cent but it is wore down or corroded bad enough even after i cleaned it i ended up running it under water to get the date as the head shot is just barly visable . i don't know if i can do anything to it to help it and my camara isn't the best as you can tell from the pics but i will see what i can do .

thanks for looking ,
Scott

but i know what i will do i'll look for another in better shape that would be a mark to shoot for huh .

thanks again,
Scott
