Great buttons! Excellent day of detecting, for sure.

The big button is a USMC from the Civil War. It is posted in Couch's Civil War relic book. When I found it, I thought it was Confederate, but no such luck. Couch says it is the rarest of the Union service buttons which is a plus. As for the other buttons, they are colonial to pre Civil War. My civilian button book places the dates from 1770-to 1840's, which goes with the property. Two housesites there, one is from the 1700's the other is late 1800's. Thanks!
