Nice Fatty Casper. The 2 rings pictured together were found where we hunted with Kent last year. I gave a handful of musket balls to the the local history high school history teacher

Nice finds Casper. Very nice gold wedding band. That's a lot of lead too. Those sinkers are expensive, at a tackle shop youll pay $2-4 each for those weights.

those were in the rocks and pretty beat up - I easily have over 200 lbs of lead - will go towards retirement fund
I have sold bunch yrs ago and have melted some and made new sinkers and dive belt weights
those were from yesterday - will make a post later showing ones from 2 days before that

Looks like a heavy chunk...congrats.

Nice find well done!

I've been saving up my lead sinkers for dive belt weights. Haven't managed to find enough to make a dive belt yet.

what's the best way to sell lead sinkers? Found a few beaches this year that were just loaded with them.

thats a heavy looking piece- congrats

you can scrap them - but you'll usually get more selling them as sinkers - Ive met guys that when they get enough of them and some good lures will
go to popular fish spots and just sell them for less than they will from stores - you can go on line and see what they go for retail
you sell them for half that price - you can usually find buyers - some guys ive met said they have regulars they sell to.
I had tag sales (yard sales) years ago where I put tons out in boxes and asked 25c- 50c - guys were buying them all up
if you have the time and live near fishing pier or good spots - go there when its busy and tell them you find a lot and if anyone would be
interested in buying some off you - you might get regulars yourself and get some good side cash - if it pays towards gas or lunch ...hey

Boy that is nice gold band! :skullflag:

Sweeeeet !!! Congrats !!
