My goal today when going back to the Farmers Field up on English Hill, would be to just find a couple of Large cents and focus on some Iron Relics ..In order to do that I had to plan on doing plenty of digging!
So as I started out the day was gorgeous and the weather ideal, I had planned on taking the day off and just go out and enjoy the moment!
What I found within the first ten minutes was this 1830's large cent with a hole in it.......Coins with holes... theres no surprise , lately there have been plenty found.
The two other large cents were found very late in the day no more that 5 feet from each other. I believe there made of Pewter or a white metal material. The date is strange is almost looks to be dated 1732.....But that can't be so it must be 1832 . The other sorry looking one , you can just make out the bust on the face along with s couple of stars in the upper right side of the coin along with the detail on the edge. Now these are strange and any imput would be appreciated....

The small copper plate is a very interesting piece, that name is associated with some of the first Telephones, phonographs ....!

When detecting this site , I have to give thanks to the owner ....he is one great guy and has owned this farm and land going back to the early 1800's when this town was founded and has a number of great places to detect up and down this road. Thanks for viewing and enjoy .......!
