Well due to playing catch-up at work I wasn't able to get out until yesterday afternoon. So I went back to "the spot" where Brett has been pulling the Mercs from. Within 5 mins I got a signal that sounded more like a wheat that a quarter, and out pops my first Washington for '09.

Nice one! Let's see...according to my records, the last silver Washington I found was found on August 9 of last year. I'd say I'm due for another one of those ones too! Is this a park area you're hunting, or a wooded area?

Joe

Nice job on that Washington

(Maybe Brett will trade you two of his Mercs and a War Nickel for your Washington ::) )

Good luck this weekend!

You make it look so easy! I hunted hard all last year and only found one....

Thanks Joe, Its basically a park area but all these latest finds are on a small wooded island. Kinda like a miniature Jackson Park.
