A lot of people were requesting that I post all of our coins, both silver and copper from our killer site. Well, here it is! Three trips worth and many hours of hunting! It was amazing!

HH mentioned in an earlier post that this was a Civil War-era trade site, something we all dream about. Unbelievable is all I can say, congrats on the once-in-a-lifetime spot...or maybe not, they're still out there. Go Mass!

Nice score. What is the coin just to the right of the silver, about 2 rows down that appears to have been stamped? And in lower left corner is a small triangle with a red stone? Tie tack? It would have been hard for me to leave a spot like that before the cows came home. Good luck.

Large cent with some kind of counter stamp. The object with the red gem is very interesting. I have no clue. The gem is red glass. Totally unknown to me, but interesting!
