Quick one hour hunt at a school this morning and had a blast!
Dug a chunky 925 ring, an Andrew Jackson $1 coin, a chopper, a truck, a car
and a pocket full of clad. I noticed they moved the bleachers 3 feet and it was on!

Good Notice! At times it is as simple as looking at a site and to really notice what is different and then go for it like you did. And, by the way, nice clean up job with that pile of pull tabs, the threaded knob and of course the elegance of an elastic bandage clip. Thanks guys! I deposited a bag full of can slaw in the trash before I left also. Since I found the two gold rings lately I have been digging the same signals and found a piece of can slaw is even closer to gold in my soil than a pull tab.

I love schools! I hit my local high school and got about 3 bucks in clad and a pewter I think pendant, it's pretty heavy. No class rings or anything.
I hit my local middle school and go over the same spots every time since its small and dig new things constantly, sometimes out of a old hole after it rains. Yes I check my hole before I fill them back in.the other day a couple was there MDing with 1000 dollar machines and missed a lot of stuff. I sat and watched for abit then asked what their setting were. Said they were running all metal couldn't hit anything. Lol turned mine on where we were standing found a quarter and a little silver pendant all within swing radius. Ha they left right after that. Just goes to show sometimes money doesn't buy happiness. Keep swinging everyone and good luck.

I like that thread ! The highest price machine doesn't mean the best harvest. I think it boils down to patience and persistence and having an open mind. Think of the fun and you will have fun. Don't think about greed. That gets you nowhere. ( my thoughts )

That's the truth about expense. I use a novigear md that best buy sells as a child's toy lol. But hey it won't hit nails or foil so I'm only digging goods. Well the occasional tab or slaw. I'm going and buying the harbor freight one for my wife the review said it hits gold and silver so well see.
