Re: you do know don't you

they'll probably go to whatever design and build is cheaper

Re: you do know don't you

My first detector was a BH and everyone called it a muffler on a stick. But I had some very nice finds with it. I cashed in over $200.00 in clad my first year, mainly because I was digging everything. Monty

Re: you do know don't you

It's no secret that I love Bounty Hunter's.

Always have done the job for me and find just as much if not more then any other brand.

All detectors do the same thing, some just take a different road getting there.

I don't knock anyones preference's in detectors and what works for one may not work for another.

So saying that, you should be aware that First Texas is owned lock stock and barrel by the

Texas Growth Fund Investment Group that owns many companies here in Texas.

Under the First Texas Name is: Bounty Hunter, Discovery Detectors, Titian Detectors, Teknetics Detectors, Fisher Detectors and Night Owl Optics.

Also First Texas makes any of the above for Big Box stores using the name that the store chooses

Such as: Radio Shack, Cabela's, Bass Pro, Fingerhut, Seventh Avenue, and etc.

I just scored a great Bounty Hunter Landstar that I was wanting for my collection but did not want to

pay a couple hundred for when I saw one on eBay for a ridiculously low amount because it had a

Radio Shack Name and listing.

If you want to see the future of Bounty Hunter go here and see all the model's, there is a shape, form and price to suit anyone:

If you have a Cabela's by you just go over there and check it out.

Cabela's is selling them now or check with your local dealer.

Re: you do know don't you

that looks like a it might be worth checking into

Re: you do know don't you

I joined a metal detecting club when I first started detecting. After I bought my BH I caught a lot of flack from some of the members because for some reason the club members were mostly Fisher fans. When BH announced it had merged with Fisher, you would have thought someone important had passed away with all the sad faces and howling that went on. Now it seems the joining of the two products has actually improved both! But it was fun for a while rubbing it in. "Pay backs are hell" is a truism. M  nty
