Went out today and took a friend. He didn’t find anything but pottery and debitage. The black chert flakes were scattered all over. It’s a hard place to get to but we went. I found a preform, blade, broken point and the picture is tough to get but I believe it’s a Adze but wasn’t finished completely. Beautiful material on it but a dry pic with the creek stain is impossible to see the work. I’m soaking it right now. I also found pottery but didn’t keep any.

I guess it is a preform not sure why they abandoned it. The colors on it are red, green, black, brown and some yellow. Would of made a killer point. Someone had beat us to the spot by what we saw.

I checked it yesterday it didn’t really help much cleaning it. I was hoping that the colors would be brighter and the work easier to see. It has a edge on one side but as Mike pointed out it’s probably a preform. One side isn’t finished. But I put it in my tool tub.
