Thought I would share this story. I was on Craigslist and this man had found this old panel toy truck while doing some landscaping on his property in Bremerton, He was asking $10.00 for it. So I thought, man This guy just kicked it up, I need to get there with my Detector!, I called him and told him I would give him the 10 bucks for it, and would also like to search his property, if it was ok, of course as my luck goes, he does not live there anymore, but he told me about an old park on the outskirts of where he lived when he found the truck, sure thing I hit the park, but only came away with 64 cents clad, The Good part of the Story is the guy was down on his luck and really appreciated the $10.00 and it looked like he sure could of used it, I Think its a dinky, its about two inches long and on the inside it says made in the USA, I like the old truck, but was really glad I was able to help the guy out, until next time..keep the coil to the soil!!

Even in that condition, that truck very likely will sell for 2-8 times what you paid for it. I looks like you got a better deal than you thought...

ES66 What are you talking about 2-8 times what he paid... So your saying $20- $80 for that thing Looks like a Tootsie Toy Truck to me.... Can get them on ebay for $2.00 - $4.00 I've dug about 5 of them. I'd still pay $10 for the info about the park if its a hard to find park. I'm always happy to give someone $10 who really needs it when I can.

Very nice story. It was nice of you to help him out. Probably with a little more probing you might of found out where he and his pal played as a kid and some other hot spots. That might of cost you another 5 or 10. But might of been worth it.
