You Smelt it?

I was curious as to how many we have on here that smelt/melt their findings down. Living in WA State we don't really have too many big nugs up here, so most of my flower I just smelt down and place in a 1/4-1oz cast. If anybody has any cool jewelry or anything similar I'd love to both see a picture and hear the story behind it. All forms of smelting tips are greatly appreciated as well.
How often do you change out your crucibles?
I found someone that will buy gold for 75% of its worth in weight, not too bad I think. I'm not going to start selling anytime soon though, c'mon $2000 an Oz!!!

There is a good thread under the search "melting gold" that involves a charcoal briquette. Fascinating. Being new to this, I am learning a lot from this site.
