Well i had to work tonight, which ruined my whole weekend.
But, tonight at work i was loafing like i do on the weekends (when i have to work),my left palm starting itching and if you are superstitious you know that is a sign that you are coming into money.
Well i went to the breakroom and looked at the snack machines and in each of the four, there was a dime in each of the change slots.
One was a 1962d and the other three was newer clad.
thanks for looking...

Congrats on the silver dime.

I don't know why snack machines are so bad about taking dimes. The one at my work keeps spitting them out. It takes four or five tries before it finally accepts it. ???

;D ;D ;D Classic!!! ;D ;D ;D

Very cool story Allen. Congrats on the silver find. How deep was it? :tongue3:
Usually when the palm of my hand is itching it means I need to wash my hands. :o :D

because tnet members are not allowed to doubt

Nice allen,

You just never know. My wife I have her trained finds silver regularly in change at work when she counts the money. Someone always throws a dime or quarter in the mix.

The vending machine where I work does not return the same coin when you put one in and hit change return. It must pull one from the bottom of the stack. Sometimes I will sit there and insert dimes and hit the change return. Have not found any silver yet but I still have hope. ;D

You should try this with the machine you found the silver in. maybe there is more in there. Just be aware however if you put in 10 dimes all at once and hit change return, you might end up with 4 quarters. :D
