Your 2 Favorite 2019 Detecting Finds

I haven't seen this topic yet, so I figured I'd start a thread to share your two favorite detecting finds from the 2019 season.

Here are my two favorites:

My George Washington Inaugural Button has to be my #1 favorite find for 2019, because of how historic a find it is. When I started detecting roughly 4 1/2 years ago I had no idea that I would find something so historically significant with such a close connection to our country's past.

My second favorite find is the 1921 Peace Dollar that I found in the front lawn of an old house earlier this year. I had always wanted to find a silver dollar and this year I was able to check that box off! I am still baffled how anyone could lose a coin so big.

sure is tough to nail down two finds
a couple of finds do stand out, the button is the only one I've ever seen of this size from a 1790s local militia and the coin is a first and not a typical coin found in North America
both will always be show pieces in my collection

Didn't dirt fish as much as I have in past years,took up real fishing again for river monsters. The favorite one of two is a 29 gram Sterling bracelet..






Favorite two of two a set of brass knuckles,this town was big time Mafioso,wouldn't surprise me the area I found it in probably holds a skeleton or two.
