that would have to be my 1781 half real that i found in a church yard. not real valuable or anything, but my oldest find yet. it really got my blood pumping when i first saw it!

Hey buscadero...
When I open my Lexmark 1200 series, it gives an option to "Send To""
such as Paint , Microsoft Word , etc.
So I "Preview" the picture,
"Scan"... then the pic goes to Paint Shop Pro 5 ,
From there I chose "File"
From the drop down box chose "Preferences"
From that box chose "File Associations"
When that box appears chose "JPEG" for the pic you want to use.
More than a thousand .BMP file sizes changes to about 100 .jpeg file sizes.
On other Paint programs I'm not sure how to change to .jpg .

As far as my best find(6 mths of my MD'n) is today, a flat silver ring squished by a
car tire. That was at a service station without using my MD. 8)
P.S. I haven't really spent much time MD'n.

Where did you dig it, if you don't mind me asking,
if you want to keep that to yourself, that's cool, I can understand that also.

This is probably my favorite single find. This is actually a picture of a picture someone took for me a few years ago. Sorry it's not that clear. Found this Ty Cobb watch fob appropriately enough outside the fence of a baseball field in Bala Cynwyd, PA. It was four inches deep. The loop for the strap had broken off. That's probably how it was lost.

I won't go into the area of spiritual. And this is supposed to be about everything but metal detecting.
SOOOOOOO, I have 5 favorite finds.....one wife who puts up with me, a guy who wants to spend most of his waking Saturdays out in the hills with the
snakes and centipedes, and locals. And, 4 great kids, who have put up with me through thick and thin. They have all given me more love than I would
ever be able to return.......and sometime I hope that they get turned on to this site, and look into this thread, and again be told by me, how much each
of them means to me.
