So you see the metaphysical connection, which is a primary part in this deal? And I am not saying that the gold isn't there, because it is,but only serves as a bait!

Bait is for simple minded fish.

Fish have but a simple effort,... find food, and procreate.

The basis of simple life.

FF gives something a tad bit bigger than bait. The ability to change ones own life and the life of others like family.

Fish dont think that big.

So then, I watched the Too Far To Walk book event video. It was like drinking warm water for me. I did note that Fenn corrected Preston when the man referred to the map in the TFTW book by calling it a map. Fenn stressed that it was an illustration.
You know, like he calls the word map in the Thrill book a poem and not a map. I also noted his "come on" comment concerning there being a clue in TFTW included by mistake.
Apparently Fenn just can't help himself. Never stops selling his products or himself.
Got to give the man credit for that.

joseph-smith-angel-moroni--mormon.jpg

In the poem map, Fenn makes what could be clearly recognized and construed by some as a veiled comparison of himself to Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormon religion.

From Fenn's poem map in the TOTC.

"So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak."
------------------------------
Joseph Smith Book of Mormon story.

Joseph Smith Receives the Gold Plates.

"At length the time arrived for obtaining the plates, the Urim and Thummim, and the breastplate. On the twenty-second day of September, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven, having gone as usual at the end of another year to the place where they were deposited, the same heavenly messenger delivered them up to me". Joseph Smith—History 1:59

'Seventeen-year-old Joseph Smith went about his usual duties on the farm the morning after Moroni had visited him three times during the night. But he was tired and weak. His father, who was working with him, could see something was wrong with Joseph and told him to go home.' (See Joseph Smith—History 1:47–48.)

Again from Fenn's poem map in the TOTC.

"So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak."

Fenn himself sets the stage for this mystical direction of thinking in the poem maps opening statement.

"As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old."

Believe me when I tell you that Fenn takes great pleasure in playing mind games with people. His Thrill is a mind game.

So Vor, Sep 18, 2013, you posted the below comment on this thread.

To quote you Vor:
"My point is on the financial facts that would lead you to believe that it is a hoax.

Such as him claiming he doesn't make much from the book sales which is total BS. He

skirts around the fact that he owns the publishing company that is making a ton of $$.

Between that and his royalty, there is nothing left to "donate".

How is that report on Fenn's financial profit from his thrill coming along for you Vor?

Anything to share Vor?
Surprise me and prove you know more than you did on 9/18/2013.

Hay, you guys. I have seen nothing in the way of a realistic clue that can be applied to a specific area. You have the same chance of finding a Fenn cache as you do of finding the Mormon gold plates with the mysterious writing. Even the Mormons don't know where they are! Frank...

Thanks for chiming in Frankn. The way I see it, the poster Vor knows "I love the smell

of black powder in the morning" and uses that knowledge to disrupt the flow of

information.
Never mind that one needed to digest my Veild Reference post #193 to get the proper

context of my post #207 that drew fire from the poster Vor.

Your observation about the lost gold plates is a "keeper"

I think the guys on the Fenn thread are more interested in mud running there vehicles then finding a cache. Do they think Fenn drove up there in a mudder? lol Frank...

Fenn's mode of transportation to his secret spot is likely more similar to a magic carpet
than a mudder with a combustion engine Frankn. After all my money is on mind travel you know, frankn.

I'm pretty sure I could get to the spot where I think it is in my summer Hemi mobile and then make a quick escape with the treasure. Just parked it for the winter last week. It will come out of hibernation next April, but won't make the trip next year. I wouldn't want to get it dirty. :nono:

Maybe you should have opted for the diesel and 4wd like I did. You could have spent a week looking in comfort. Hay it will beat any speed limit easily. lol Frank...

Hey Frankn. Did the kid, Sunny Ronzie say he was trying to unload his car?
Maybe he would have better luck on Craig's List. That's were I got mine.
Looks a heck of a lot like the kid's car, don't you think?

Maybe Sunny Ronzie should recite or sing the following words. HIS CHOICE. It may help. He should at least give it a shot.

The sun'll come out tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be sun
Just thinkin' about tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow till' there's none

When I'm stuck with a day that's gray and lonely
I just stick out my chin and grin and say oh

The sun'll come out tomorrow
So you got to hang on till' tomorrow, come what may!

I'll take being called a kid as a compliment BTDT2. Not unloading my baby, just stored it for the winter as she doesn't see any snow.
Although my winter mobile is much better suited for treasure hunting.
