Guy at far right just hit high gear. The guy right behind him looks to be related to the bear. The guy going down with the camera is a dead man falling. Guy on the far left should drop the light shade for more speed. Love the look on the fat bearded guys face. I like the " run from the bear shots " good stuff cannonballguy !!!

Was thinking of a display coffee table in the future for my best finds. What do people think? Im thinking the best would be one that completely hides the stuff like picture one and two in case of thieves. Open it only when certain people are around i want to show. Even though open glass ones like picture three would look way better but also more chance of damage if something smashes down through. Just curious what people think of the pros and cons?

VERY good work! :icon_thumright:
Beautiful wood. Stained? Looks like Redwood or Cedar.

Those are just internet screen shots but like what I’m thinking of doing. Im just making a plan and seeing what people think is the best type to go with. The pros and cons. I think finds completely hidden under a solid removable top is the best and safest way to go so finds wouldn’t possibly get stolen. But a see through top would look awesome! [emoji106]

I like table 1. Table 2 is good but if you knock a drink over ( like I just did with a full glass of tea) it will run into your finds instead of off the edge onto the floor. Table 3 looks awsome and I like it alot, but the glass also scares me and my collection is in plain sight wich I may not want all the time. Glass tops and 5 year old boys might not mix that well.

Thanks. Im just thinking of ideas. I think a modified number 1 would probably be best. I never thought of the drinks and kids stuff either. A coffee table may not even ever happen but if it does finds must be safe at all costs. Id like a removable or raising solid top that has a glass top hidden underneath or something like that! KIDDO1979, I have always likes secret places. I think a secret place is way better than a safe or box.
When someone has a gun safe it tells everyone that sees it that there are guns here.
I knew a guy that had a room just like you might see in a movie, where the bookcase is hinged and it opens to a room.
He used it as his office and I couldn't tell it was there. Just the layout of the place.
I am remodeling a bedroom in my home and made a 6 inch deep space in the wall. 30"x24"x 6" that is
flush to the wall and I will hang a picture over it. It will be for a couple of pistols and some $$ jewelry.
Easy access if necessary.
Secret places were often built into furniture in the past centuries. I have found a lot of good ideas on the net.

Here's another category of "Ooops!" stuff... design-fails.

A pencil with an anti-drugs message, intended to be given to school students, until somebody used one, and saw the result shown in the photo.

Ooops. Another design-fail. This one could have very painful consequences for an unwary user.

It was 25° this morning. My indoor activities include painting the entire house. I'm starting with the dining room.
