Hi Everyone!
Thought I'd share my first round of finds for the weekend. I hit it hard first thing Friday morning and beat down 8 garage sales and 1 estate sale in about 7 hours. My total spent for the day was $111.75. I think I did pretty well, but I will let you guys be the judge. Here's the cost breakdown:

Pink candy dish (not sure what it is, no markings, looks like depression glass to me) .75 cents

Antique woodworking tools (6) $50.00

Brinkmann Pro Dual Zone Charcoal Grill/Smoker $25 (needs cleaned up a little, but they retail for $199)

Craftsman 22' electric hedge trimmer new $10.00

Mamiya 35 mm camera $10.00

Panasonic pv-1678 Vhs-C camcorder$10.00

Brass/Bronze Eagle Bookends (very cool) $6.00

If anyone wants to see pics, let me know and I'll post'em

I've got two estate sales lined up for the morning and a massive community sale that is over a mile long after that ;D

The wood tools. I think they are 30's/40's age wise but not sure.

Try putting how much the book ends weigh on your auction. Also, maybe try starting it at .99 and see what happens. I just learned that you can "end the auction early" if it isn't going the way you wanted it to go.

Yes you can end them even if someone has bid. You might get a repercussion if you end say 9 out of 10 early. Really the only time a early ending is needed after a bid is if you break/lose a item or there was a problem in the listing that might cause problems in the end with the buyer.
