    good evening mam...that is very interesting. Im pretty sure its not native american. With Mass. history in mind I would be leaning towards colonial posibly religous.... im just guessing. I hope to see someone I.D. it for you.

    it could be a natural shape. Very human like, but the features are not detailed enough to tell for sure. Very cool stone.

    it is a very old kewpie doll, very crude and worn but cool
    where i live mexican workers brought these here around 150 years ago
    there is an extremely old railroad depot here that was built with part mexican labor
    there are several of these embedded in the cement walls.....i can go take a picture
    the workers would put these on the finish coat of the walls whenever one of the crew had a new young one

    this is the depot along with some images of the pieces embedded
    ther are several of these but some are hard to get at

    yup rusty it is
    hey we did work repairing copper flashing on the walls meeting the roofs and found more of these crude white dolls in areas impossible to see from the ground
    this was 20 years ago and i sure remember these from the memory's they gave us
