A buddy of mine and I hit several different fields on Sunday and the only complete Point found was this killer and that was 15 minutes before we were run out by a storm after 5 hours hunting. We were both having a crappy day for sure. Just as we crossed from one field to another in a low spot I made the comment, "I never find anything down here in this muck", took about 4 steps and saw this sticking out of the ground. Best and biggest Point I've found in a long time.

My best guess is a Lowe Point since this site is mostly Woodland. Right at 3 1/4 inches long.

That is a very nice point. I'll bet you were holding your breath until you got the whole thing out of the muck.

It looks to me like an implement did strike it, and dead center. Those dark spots in a line are likely iron deposits from the strike that have turned to rust.

I appreciate your care in framing your finds. I too frame my best presentable finds and it takes up alot of space. I have a room my wife refers to my Indiana Jones room in which I too have my frames. I enjoy an hour or more each day in there. Thanks for your story and points
