lighting makes it hard to see details (especially if you wet it) but it looks like schist to me. Kimberlite will almost always have a greenish tint due to the olivine content

Yea, it was just the lighting. It’s pretty green. Maybe better pic

can u get a closer pic so we can see the grains/clasts in the rock? Does look like it could go either way from schist to lamproite/kimberlite but being able to ID the clasts would be more helpful

Crystal, do you have an opinion on the clasts, like do the lighter colored ones look like feldspars or the darker ones like garnet or staurolite? Does some of the material flake off? Can you check hardness on the clasts? That sort of stuff
