I got out Saturday to a park up in CT near my buddies house. We both got totally drenched, but we had the park to ourselves, and had fun. Didn't find much, just 2 of the worst condition wheaties I have ever found (1916 and 191?-S, I think) and the usual clad. We did stumble on a? rather large trash dump in the woods way off from the main park area. We are getting pretty good at spotting these trash dumps areas! We didn't have time to start digging it, and frankly, didn't want to with the rain and mud we were facing. We did pull a few bottles, from the 50s I think, off the edge of the mound, along with about a hundred old rusted beer cans. I kept an old Pepsi and another local ginger ale bottle, and left the rest for Jeff. Oh, and he found a 1953 silver Washington, with my old BH! We're going back soon to start digging up the dump, but this one will keep us busy for a while. Thanks for looking, and happy hunting!
