Congratulations on your quarter stator. I'm envious, the one I got last year didn't have a horse on it.

Thanks for all the great posts in 2011, they have made my mornings much more enjoyable and interesting, also increased my knowledge of things ancient.
As for gold, no-one is more likely to find a gold coin than you guys, I am expecting to see one in your posts anytime. Thanks again Nuggy

Thanks for the Banner & votes, plus all the above comments
The Team will need to be on its toes this year, if we want to improve on last year. Personally it will be near impossible, in terms of totals, as we have sucked off so much from the sites we know about. We will need some pretty major new ones, to even stand half a chance But its not going to stop us trying harder & lets hope this is the kick start for a killer year

Re: 2000 YEAR OLD GOLD COIN...
Congrats!
What a Beauty! Great BANNER Find!
I see that it weighs something over 1 gram and under 1.5 grams. Could you give more info on detector used? (Goldmax?) Depth, and signal number.
I was playing with my XP Deus trying to see sensitivity to gold. a 1.5 gram ring sounded off at 3 to 4" depth.
