I am not really interested... so my eyes are closed.

But... while I am here I will open my eyes and look.

Curiosity got me... not interest :)

No - minies are from 2 different large hunts down south = SC and VA....the farm field musketballs and water ones are from New England spots

Its one of my favs - found way way out from shore - that's why it was not found before - square opals are not common

I love all the Silver & Gold But the "Old Gold" takes the cake IMO.

Those were some Pretty deep CW Recoveries.

I kept telling people that though the CZ21 is a water machine - I been wanting to use on land - but would have to be an old area and hopefully a spot away from modern trash - in 2014 I was on a relic hunt and my primary land machine carped the bed - for the heck of it I took out the cz21 and hunted in all metal - well this was a popular
sportmans spot and there were beer caps and pulltabs along with shotgun shells all over - I hunted in all metal and only went for faint signals that I thought were below the modern trash - when I got a faint reading I would click overt o ID mode and if signal was mid to high - Id go for it - first one I did this was a union coat button over a foot down - next was a cuff - I could not believe it - and spot I was hitting was where 100s of others had passed because it was so trashy - I ended up with a few more keepers - Soooo - to make a long story longer - in 2015 I was scheduled to go on two large group relic hunts and because I was happy with the previous results with it -
the CW relics you see were all found with it down south - almost all the finds were 1 to 2 feet down and were in an area that had been hit by 100s of guys on 5 previous trips - most were close to 1 1/2 feet - 2 feet down - I had other guys come over with top of the line land machines and check a few signals after I had pulled up some real deep minies - on one they both got nothing and said I was wasting my time on one of my "whispers" of a signal - once I got own to about a foot and rechecked - signal on my machine got stronger - they checked and still got nothing - turned out to be a musketball close to 2 feet down... a few minutes later..I got another one of those whispers and they checked it - one got no reading the other said he got one that was in and out and sounded like a ghost - ended up being another deep musketball. So I did good against some of the big boys - the next hunt I was in an area and 3 other guys said they weren't getting anything and once again I pulled a handful of minies down deep all over where they had swung - once again all using $1000+ land machines - made me feel good - Im hoping to try in a colonial farm field this year
I would love to try a water PI at a old land spot one of these days as long as it would be far from modern trash - hasn't happened yet but maybe one day

That's what detecting is all about, Great Slide Show .
