Great trip but need ID Help

Searched a new field with friends and had a great haul. King George 1724, pewter button, a few other dandy buttons but found one button that I haven't seen before and wondering if it is the same time period. It is glass over a gold design with an iron backing. I'll include pics with the other finds as well to show the age.Click image for larger version.

Nice finds, good work on some old recoveries, especially in S.C.

Love digging those KG I coins, just haven't dug one in a while. Your mystery button is part of a circa mid 18th century cufflink.

All the times I sat in that deer stand looking at that field. I never would have thought anything was there.

Could be a much early cufflink piece from 1690-1720s!
