So yesterday I found a few buttons which I love to find I was wondering if the larger ones look colonial to you guys? Also found and identified were a crushed thimble, another 10cent token, lincon penny, 1946 dime, a coat janger and a few bullets. The small star pictured I thought was neat and it has me wondering if it was a piece of jewelry or was part of a uniform?? The big ball of rust seems to have a coin or possibly a button embedded in it i am going to try and clean it up a bit. If you folks could give me your input and opinions I'd appreciate it thanks

Looks to be a stud or snap type button popular in the early 1900’s, that star piece is really cool, not common to find anything colored blue, must be enamel?

Here are some stud/snap buttons from a 1912 site...these button types were never meant to be removed...I don’t think these buttons fell off easy, sometimes when you find a button the article of Clothing went through a fire and you can find 10 or more in one spot F6456780-9A64-4C40-B280-91C7C992BF7E.jpeg
8AEC4807-1653-4ECB-8204-A860FA9554D5.jpeg These all came from one hole, turns out to be a early 1900’s Carhartt’s chore coat. The smaller snap buttons could have been cuff buttons

I would try putting that star piece on the “what is it” section...
also did the 10cent trade token have a establishment attributed to it?

Yes it is a lumber token and is not listed in the token catalog online. I have actually found 10 tokens from the same lumber company from the early 1900s
