Very nice finds,congrats!
Buckles are always cool to find and the halfpenny is in a good shape. Was wondering, have you tried the Elliptical HF Coil, maybe it can help to swing between the stubble rows?

Thanks for your post Anton, my buddy pepperj has the HF coil and he literally swears by it.
I was actually thinking about getting the 13" round coil next for increased depth at 4Khz, although I've heard that it can add considerably more weight to the machine.
I've been using the 11" for 2-years now and I really like it, although as you mentioned, it's a pain in the shoulder trying to swing in between the 8" wide rows of stubble.
Hope you're having another amazing year,
Dave

Thanks very much for your post Bill, I plan on detecting this site again this morning.
Our government here in Ontario has just put us in our 4th lock-down with a stay-at-home order for the next 28 days. The stay-at-home order rules include "requiring everyone to remain at home except for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services (including getting vaccinated), for exercise close to home, and with the people you live with, or for work that cannot be done remotely."
Sounds like a great opportunity to go detecting to me.
Take care buddy,
Dave

Every artifact has a story, if we're willing to listen
Dave, absolutely amazing! Way to keep your eyes open for non-metallic finds like the marble and pottery.

Thanks for your post my friend, sometimes the eyes make better finds than the detector does.
Yesterday, I did field walk of this site just to see what was uncovered by the snow melt, found some interesting glass and pottery finds.
Best of luck to you,
Dave

How come I never have that kind of luck Steve.
In the States you all have an amazing military history, where as here in Canada not so much
I always assume the majority of buckles I find are horse tack, but when I find one that's unique or that I've never seen before, now that's exciting.
Hope you're having a good year so far,
Dave

Thank you for your post Arfie.
You know you're getting old when you get more excited about finding an old marble then you do about finding an old coin.
I did a field-walk of this site on Thursday to see what the melting snow had exposed, just a couple of bottle necks, no more marbles.
Hope you're doing well in OR,
Dave
