I have dug over 600 clad dimes since jan 5 2008 and I finally found a silver dime!!!!!!! I actually found a mercury dime last month but the odds of finding silver is really tuff!!!!!!! so thats my 2nd silver dime for the year. both silver dimes have only been about 2 inches deep!!!!!! very strange. I detected today for only 1 hour and 20minutes and had a amazing day!!!!!!!! the dime gave a 25 cents signal and the chain gave a nickel signal, whites prizmII detecter, dime and chain cleaned with a touch of water and baking soda.

Nice finds . . . did the necklace give you any weird results when you tried to pinpoint? Was is spread out or wadded up? Both cleaned up very nicely!
