LARGE & HALF CENTS FOUND (FOUND 3 More large cents)

I found these over the last few days. A person would never know anything existed their! I also found lots of buttons, sewing thimble, straight razor, and many other items. I have to use scanner for pics..i will try to scan and post. It must have been an old colonial camp or fort.

man, those are my dream coins. i have yet to find either one, but i'm still swing'in that coil. the 1809 and 1817 are in fantastic condition ! keep it up.

Thanks all.. i also found a bell like an cow bell too big to scan...lol Also lots of iron pot fragments and broken china. I,m glade it on my own land, I can take my sweet old time with it

The 1809 must be a popular year for half cents. The only one I've ever found was an 1809. I've seen at least two other 1809's this year also. None of them are in quite the condition of that one on the right. That one looks great. I'd say you're in the right spot for sure. Must be nice to know that you can make those type of finds on your own property. Nice.

I was thinking the same thing! I posted my 1809 Half Cent in April of this year. Not in nearly as good condition as yours though!
