Been out with it a few times Now

Used it in damp Soft Soil,
Dry Ground, & Gravel with
plenty of Larger Rocks mixed in.

Works Great in all types of ground

Love the Handle Also !
Not a Cheap Plastic one like on the Minelab blades.

could be twice as long (I have had the Whole Thing
in the Hole to dig deep Targets) though I Would
probably Snap it off trying to Wedge a Rock out
if I Had the Extra Length :tongue3:

Hope you dig some good stuff with er Jeff! :icon_thumright:
Im afraid to make the blade much longer........it could fold in the middle when prying too hard. I may make you a longer one to "test" for me when I have time.

Just had a thought.......perhaps I could make em an inch or two longer IF I made the blades a little wider. I think I'll try to make one up, might send it to you to "abuse", er, TEST for me Jeff. Might take a few tries but we'll get you the perfect tool eventualy! :icon_thumleft:

damn AP, that is the Cadillac of all scoops and comes with all the bells and whistles. I love your idea for a handle using the inside for other implements. Brilliant :headbang:

Instead of carbon steel have you thought about using mower blades? Bent one last year and couldn't hardly bend it back and that was using a 3 foot long 3" cheater pipe and a large vise. I made a digger from one years ago but its actually too big to carry. Looks like something from Crocodile Dundee.

I would love to be going to the CTH3 just for a chance to win one of those digging tools. Sadly I won't be going this year : - (

Still they look like awesome tools!!!

It is the best digger I have ever had in my hands. It is perfect to scoop loose dirt and makes a perfect size hole for yard hunting. I have not come across anything that will stop it. I use a shovel if I have to go deeper than the digger. It is staying sharp also. Now if I can just get him to the hunt so people can meet the famous Mighty AP.
Bless you AP.

FYI for Mighty AP ;Re: Awsome Digger Mighty AP !

Don't you Dare Try to replace this or take
it the wrong way AP.

If you do I'll never tell you anything again ;D

Not a Complaint
Just a FYI in case your not aware.

Unless it's Because of Me,
these Type Grips Wear out.

:o :o :o

NOOOOOOO!!!!
Im Sorry Jeff, I used to buy my grips in bulk at a bike shop here in town but they went out of business recently. I found another place but they did not carry the grips I wanted, so I experimented with other types. Fortunately I only made a couple with those grips you have. I am now using LIZARD SKINS exclusively & I really like them, hope they hold up better. That is an easy fix jeff, if you take it to a bike shop & purchase a pair of grips (retail here in Idaho bout $11.00, you'll have a spare) they will usually put the grip on for you using a compressor. Look to see if they carry LIZARD SKINS or I can send you a grip. Let me know....... :icon_thumright:
