    What are these?

    I found these two curved pieces in the same hole. Found near a turn of the century hotel. They seem to be made of brass.
    I have no idea what they may be.

    I don't know if my response will have any merit or not.. but if their brass. it makes me think plumbing. if you put them in the end they make a circle. you found them in the ground near where is structure stood. and you found them together. my guess is they formed a girdle around plumbing pipes. probably septic

    They could have been attached to furniture even. Alot of brass was used on furniture, and when they are polished they would have looked nice.
